This was a book that I had wanted for years, since I had given my original copy to my grandson.
This is the best book on birds that I have ever read.
Every home should have one.

I have had and used this book when it was first offered by Readers Digest. My daughter-in-law loves to watch birds at her home and doesn't know what kind they are. I bought her a copy and she loves it and probably knows more about the birds than I do, now.
I would recommend this book to anybody.

The book provides much information regarding birds found in North America. It would be a great book if it provided average measurements of birds regarding wing span, body size, eye size, and foot size.

Definitely one of the best bird books I've seen. Easy to use, concise information, good pictures, inexpensive... just what we wanted. Makes identifying the birds at our feeders easier.
