extraordinary purchaseDec 30, 2009 I received this book as a gift and was SO impressed with the ideas in it that I ordered one for my daughter--who happened to have just moved into her first home. You can solve almost any dilemma with the suggestions in this book. Money very well spent

Not NewOct 26, 2009 This is a great book with lots of reminders of things we may have forgotten. So many are not new to me, as I am a 72 year old woman. We have used many of these hints for years. However, they have given me some more to think on and try. Whenever you use a book like this, you usually browse through it and don't end up using much of it. However, I try to check hints at least monthly and pick one or more to try. Soon the ones I try become a habit and save me money.
UnbelievableSep 23, 2009 Unbelievable, I never would have thought of some of this stuff. And it really works.

Household uses - non toxicSep 20, 2009 I was delighted to see how baking soda could freshen drain, be used in rinse cycle of laundry or vinegar, borax or other products could help with ants etc.
I wish I could have found info for bee sting as I think a baking soda paste does help with this..
This book is fun to use and better than online info which has so much clutter to weed through.
Useful Household BookSep 14, 2009 This book, Extraordinary Uses For Ordinary Things, is so helpful in so many ways. Who knew a pencil eraser can remove sticky tape from a curtain rod, or that WD-40 can get two drinking glasses unstuck! You never know when you may need an answer to life's little problems. Well this book is the answer. I am happy with my purchase and will keep this book forever.
