THIS IS A BOOK ALL WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THEIR HEALTH SHOULD HAVE IN THEIR LIBRARY.
IT IS NOT QUITE AS WELL ORGANIZED AS THE 1988 EDITION BUT IT IS THE BEST AVAILABLE TODAY (I TRIED FOR YEARS TO GET R.D. TO REWORK AND RE-ISSUE THE OLD VERSION BUT WAS COMPLETELY IGNORED.) THEY FINALLY CAME OUT WITH THIS VERY GOOD EDITION.[ASIN:B0013ANJS6 Books - Book - Nutrition Almanac #6 Ea]]

Sensationally low price and very informative. Just packed with easy-to-find pateient essential data. Do not be put off by the fact that a newer edition is available. This one has more pages, comes with a CD, costs less, and in my humble opinion it is better organized. A friend in Florida has an older edition she finds indispensible.

The only comprehensive book I know under this format. The book tells you what the drug is prescribed for. It explains how a particular drug works with the effects and side-effects when taken. It also tells you what food not to take when taking this drug. Excellent, specially if you are taking a few prescription drugs. Excellent referrence!
