After a call to Readers Digest, concerning their earliest delivery date, this came through perfectly with a much earlier start date. Almost immediately. Very easy on these older eyes.

5Every library should have this - and so should your grandparentsSep 12, 2009
Well, if your grandparents have short attention spans, anyway. I've always enjoyed the Reader's Digest's collection of current articles, condensed to fit the space allotted, as well as the wit and humor which warm the cockles of my heart. Seriously, though, for fans of the RD, it's great. I'd recommend that libraries purchase this edition over the standard-print edition because it's not the kind of volume that most people put in a backpack or pocketbook any longer. If older people are the primary audience and compose its readership, there's no harm in increasing the font size of the magazine as long as the content is word-for-word-identical with the standard edition. It's a kindness to library patrons to have access to this copy.

In hard budget times when libraries are cutting back on periodicals, my professional recommendation is to dump the standard edition in favor of the LP edition and ensure accessibility for more people.
