The Kindle Edition of Reader's Digest contains most articles found in the print edition, but will not include all images. For your convenience, issues are auto-delivered wirelessly to your Kindle at the same time the print edition hits the newsstand.

5Better than the print version!Sep 23, 2009
With no ads, all the content, and great graphics; the Kindle version of Reader's Digest is even better than the print edition. I found it very easy to read and find the sections I wanted to go back to. This is the perfect example of how a print document should be presented in the Kindle!

5Loved It!Aug 22, 2009
Reading this magazine on my Kindle was great. I really like the fact that there were no ADS! The graphics were good as well. I actually finished it in its entirety before the next installment of by subscription arrived.

2Formatting FixedJul 25, 2009
The content is great--I've enjoyed the new editorial policies, the magazine retains its relevance very well.

The Kindle version suffers from very poor proofing. The are several instances of run-on words. There are several misplaced hyphens. All of the apostrophes are missing!

I don't mind having it all in black and white on the Kindle. The formatting is annoying however. I'll stick with it a bit longer because I like the Kindle convenience.

I just hope Reader's Digest brings the Kindle edition formatting quality up to its print standards.

UPDATE: The formatting was fixed and a new edition was delivered. Much better. I would now give 5 stars but I can't figure out how to change it.

2Should be betterJun 21, 2009
Browsing about with my Kindle and discovered one of my favorite magazines had been added to the stable so I tried it out, was disappointed when I received the June issue, the July issue came in the mail over a week ago so I had dig down a bit to find the June issue and compare.

No ads is a big plus but still a bunch of things missing, then I ran into one of the biggest problems with the Kindle - can't cancel subscriptions from it.

I'm a bit biased since the print version costs me $10 a year and the Kindle version costs more but I expected better from Readers Digest than I found, hopefully they will will fix things by the time my print subscription runs out.

4Always GoodJun 10, 2009
I've always like the Reader's Digest for a good blend of writing from humor to drama, having subscribed to the print version a number of times off and on over the years. The actual content quality has always remained consistently high for this publication.

It does seem the print version has become overloaded with ads, but that was less of a problem than the annoying cardboard insert/tear-out ads that make the thing physically difficult to read.

The Kindle version is a very much improved experience over the print version, with the same high quality writing, of course. A bonus is that the linked navigation makes it really easy to find an article for the mood I'm in at a given moment.
