Super salads with super pictures!Feb 28, 2010
I love this cookbook! About 95% of the recipes have pictures, beautiful colored pictures. Of course it makes me want to make all of the salads. There's a lettuce guide, describing most of the types of lettuces in the book, so you know what to buy. If there is a recipe that calls for something that you really haven't heard of, it gives a description right next to the recipe. There's a page of different dressing recipes. All the recipes have the calorie count. I am very please with this cookbook. I will be looking for more cookbooks by Reader's Digest. Very pleased. Highly recommend. You won't be dissapointed.

Every recipe has been a keeper. Lots of great salad combinations that you would never think of!

A great book to broaden your thoughts on the ol' salad. I had hit a creativity roadblock when it came to greens and this book is simple to use, the ingredients are generally those I have on hand and the results have received positive comments from family and friends - and all at minimal effort from me - THAT is a bonus.

This book is huge, never expected for the price. Very good recipes. A lot of pictures which is good for the visual person like me.
