Amazing restoration jobApr 08, 2009
Hank never sounded more emotional and sincere. The 3 complete shows included in this set are in my opinion the best music released by Hank ever. I have heard these recordings before they were restored to their original state, and the clarity of every note is not to be believed. The best thing about this restoration process is that the original sound was not at all compromised with other mis-directed ideas that have been tried before-namely adding foreign sounds to Hanks simple and beautiful music. No purist wants to see Hanks music ruined. I hope more complete shows are released that way, I would like to see all 70 Mothers best shows remastered as well as alot of other rare stuff out there as well.
