knitting loomOct 26, 2009
The loom was fairly easy to aasemble and the instruction booklet is informative. Many fun and creative ideas can be found in the booklet. I liked it!

I've tried and tried to circle knit and just don't get it. The hubby does though and does wonderfully on it. I'm glad that someone does.

Loom knitting SetAug 07, 2009
First you have to insert the pegs and some of them stay loose, to fit this I use a dab of Elmers glue. I do like the spacing of the pegs, they are closer than the Knifty Knitter round looms. The one problem I found was the patterns: some of them have errors, if your a beginner this may cause confusion, but if you have been loom knitting as long as I have you can make adjustments.

Attention beginners, start somewhere else!Feb 11, 2008
I bought this set because I was tempted by the fact that it had everything in one -- loom, yarn, patterns, and instructions. And I found everything satisfactory, save for the instructions. I figured that because it was an all-in-one (wouldn't an intermediate or advanced loomer already have these materials?) it was targeting the beginner. Boy, was I wrong. It starts out covering a bit of the basics, then begins to assume all sorts of prior knowledge of loom knitting. If you're like me and know absolutely NOTHING about loom knitting, don't start out here! Or, if you purchase it for the materials and patterns (which are very nice, by the way), make sure you buy another (primer level) book in addition.

These looms are fun and EASY! Anyone can learn the basics and have great results in a very short time. By short, I mean an hour or less. Due to R/A, I have limited use of my hands and find that this is of no consequence with these looms. I would recommend them to anyone, young or old, looking for a fun craft.
