I love the collection and every CD is great. The only negative is the tri fold. CD's fall out easlily. Perfect music and great variety of songs and singers. Sets the Christmas mood.

 Excellent music but cheap packageJul 31, 2007
I saw this set in a Reader's Digest mailing back in 2004, but saw it on Amazon and bought it for 15.20 which was a considerable reduction in price from Reader's Digest, which sells it for 59.95 plus shipping and handling. The music is outstanding. The set consists of 6 discs. Discs 1 and 2 are various songs and carols performed by various artists, discs 3 and 4 are more of the same performed by various choirs and groups, disc 5 consists of songs just for kids, and disc 6 are all orchestral performances. The quality of the CDs are excellent and the sound is wonderful, but unfortunately they come in a relatively cheap cardboard trifold arrangement which folds up and has slits to hold the CDs. Tha is really the only negative I can point out for this item, and discs 3 and 4 are worth purchasing the entire set for, because (in my opinion) there is nothing in the world as wonderful as listening to choirs and chorales singing the old Christmas carols. Even with the economical packaging, I still highly recommend this set.
